Information Systems

Scott Wilson’s Information Systems department
has over 17 years’ experience in the application of information
systems, particularly GIS, within the company and for external
clients. Expertise in the operation and implementation of systems
through which data is collected, stored and analysed is fundamental
for decision-making.
It is our role to analyse business processes and system
requirements and use our wealth of experience to create real, time
saving applications.
The Information Systems department has been
developed to analyse and review the management of data and
information on a project, regardless of size, and suggest
cost-effective solutions.
These solutions provide the client with easy, quick and cost
effective access to project information from a single location via
web or office-based protected systems.
Depending on a project’s specifications, the
Information Systems department works in the following areas as
separate services or as an integrated solution:
- GIS – map production, data analysis, visual representation, 3D
modelling, web-based GIS systems, movie files, spatial analysis,
data conversion, aerial and satellite interpretation, GPS data
capture and surveying
- Database development – small to medium scale database design,
development and build. Linking multiple databases and web-based
systems

management, project site reviews, technical input to tenders or
