The Mining Group has considerable experience
in the planning and implementation of all phases of exploration
programmes for different commodities. We have been involved
in projects in all continents, from north of the Arctic Circle to
tropical climates.
We have solid experience with exploration
tools required to delineate exploration targets and assess the
economic potential of the mineralisation on projects
Scott Wilson provides independent reviews of
property exploration programmes designed to ensure that
comprehensive exploration and engineering data is collected for the
full range of project assessment and design requirements.
This work provides assurance that information collected will be
reliable for public disclosure, resource estimation and project
design and permitting requirements.
We also assist clients to develop their
exploration programmes or will manage the programme on behalf of
our clients. The group has also generated a number of gold
and base metal exploration projects for junior mining companies.
Some clients require technical support to implement their progress.
This work involved the compilation of existing property exploration
data, development of geological interpretation and identification
of exploration strategies. An exploration programme is
developed based on selected target areas. Property staking
and systematic exploration work programmes are then carried out on
behalf of the client. Work programmes can include detailed
geological mapping and prospecting, geochemical sampling,
geophysical surveying, trenching and diamond drilling.
Scott Wilson Mining Group retains
subcontractors to carry out the fieldwork and manages the
exploration programmes with staff personnel. A report
summarises the work completed.
Scott Wilson Mining Group provides independent
reviews of quality control/quality assurance procedures in
exploration programmes including sample collection, preparation and
analytical protocols, check assay statistical compilation and
database validation. Ongoing exploration programmes can be
planned in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
