Health and Safety

Since 1994 Scott Wilson has been appointed as
Planning Supervisor and now CDM Co-ordinator on over 1,000 projects
of varying disciplines and client types, ranging in value from
£10,000 to £600m. We offer a service which is technically
competent and sufficiently resourced to enable an appropriate and
pro-active approach to be developed.
Our Clients rely on us to provide suitable and
sufficient advice and assistance to enable them to discharge their
CDM duties. This will be of particular benefit to Clients or
individuals within client organisations who are unfamiliar with the
construction industry or who do not regularly promote construction
projects.
Our services cover not only the Construction
(Design & Management) Regulations, but also advice and guidance
on occupational health & safety issues, ranging from policy
writing to task specific risk assessment, site specific safety
audits and Asbestos Management Plans.
In addition to the statutory role of CDM
Co-ordinator, we also provide CDM advice and training to clients,
designers and contractors.
As part of an engineering consultancy, our
health & safety experts fully understand the design process and
our CDM Co-ordinators have specific construction experience.
We believe our role to be a non-breaucratic one, to assist in
identifying hazards and risks involved in a project and to be
proactive in eliminating reducing and/or controlling those risks
that remain.
