QuBE is a wholly owned subsidiary of Scott
Wilson which brings together specialist conservation and urban
design expertise to complement planning skills and knowledge.
A cornerstone of QuBE’s services is our expertise in dealing with
the full range of issues related to Listed Buildings and
Conservation Areas. We believe in seeking the right solution
for the building, space or place and work creatively with clients,
owners, local authorities and heritage organisations to deliver
high quality and cost effective outcomes.
Preparing robust justification to support
development proposals affecting listed buildings and conservation
areas is becoming increasingly important. We prepare historic
building assessments, conservation area appraisals, context studies
and design guidance to support planning and listed building
applications and act as expert witness at public inquiries.
QuBE is an integrated planning, urban design
and conservation consultancy committed to working in partnership
with both public and private clients to offer expert advice and
deliver high quality, site specific, sustainable and cost effective
solutions for buildings, spaces and places.
We undertake a wide range of work from the
very small (individual properties) to the large scale (masterplans)
