Novi Sad to Belgrade Motorway

Project Introduction
Client: Road Directorate of Serbia
Duration: 2005-2007
Project Background
This is a high-profile project for the up-grading of
approximately 70 kilometres of single-carriageway road to a dual
carriageway, tolled, fully grade-separated motorway, connecting the
two leading cities in Serbia. The road crosses the Danube, near the
village of Beska, using an existing, elegant, high-level bridge. It
is planned to build another bridge in parallel to the existing one
to accommodate the second carriageway.
The project is co-financed by the European Investment Bank
