Project Introduction
This £3.5m new build project was completed for HGB
Construction.
Project Background
This scheme involved the construction of a new leisure centre
containing extensive facilities in an attractive, modern
environment.
Project Scope
The design developed into a two-storey, steel-framed building
with a curved roof, masonry cladding and pre-cast concrete floors,
able to house all the required facilities and with the necessary
swimming pool pumping systems housed in the basement. The building
was set within landscaped gardens.
Value Adding Project Achievements
The new leisure centre is an attractive building that
provides a pleasant environment in which to enjoy facilities
including a full-length swimming pool, learner and hydrotherapy
pools, a large gym, fitness studios, and a sauna.
