Time and Tide Museum, Great Yarmouth

Project Introduction
This flagship scheme, with a value of £4.7m, was completed for
the Norfolk Museum Service.
Project Background
The scheme involved the refurbishment and conversion of a Grade
II listed Victorian building, one of the last surviving herring
curing complexes in Great Yarmouth.
Project Scope
The brief was to refurbish and convert the building to create a
modern museum with working displays of the herring curing process,
together with material on the town's ships and trades and mediaeval
history.
Value Adding Project Achievements
The project was completed within two years and the museum is
expected to attract at least 25,000 visitors a year.
