Holborn Viaduct, London
Project Introduction
Client: Castlemore Securities
Value: £42m
Completion: 2008
Project Background
Demolition of a concrete-framed 1960s office block to make way
for a £42m landmark office building on the edge of the City of
London. The new building is framed in steel with long span, open
web floor beams and a central concrete core to create a high
quality column free environment. It has nine-storeys above ground
and three levels of basement, the construction of which required
careful consideration of adjoining properties.
