5 - 6 St James's Square, London

Project Introduction
Client: Cushman and Wakefield
Value: £50m
Completion: 2009
Project Background
Demolition of number 6 and creation of a new facade to blend in
with the existing Grade 2* facade of number 5. To the rear of the
building there will be a new 200,000 sq ft office block with a
small amount of residential space.
Uniting the building is a central courtyard space, which retains
the memory of an 18th century courtyard and stable behind number 5.
The courtyard space will help visitors to orientate themselves and
will create a memorable core at the centre of the development.
