Project background
Our Technical Director Clive Richardson has been Engineer to the
Dean & Chapter of Westminster Abbey since 1991, when he oversaw
the concluding years of the largest restoration since Wren.
The Abbey is a World Heritage Site, Scheduled
Monument and Grade I listed complex of buildings. Its fabric dates
back to William the Conqueror, and is in constant need of care and
attention.
Current work includes repair of the triforium
roofs, and stabilisation of St Margaret’s Church tower cupola.
